Dr. Shyam Zawar, an alumnus of Bombay Veterinary College, has undertaken pioneering research work in the field of Embryo Transfer in Sheep, Goat and Cattle. His extensive work on this topic led to the first Ph.D on this subject in the country. Dr. Shyam brought laurels to the Trust when Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India appreciated his work in the field of ‘Rural Development’.

He has also undergone Senior Management Programme from IIM Kolkatta and Senior Executive Programme from London Business School, London.

Dr Shyam is a Member of Health and Safety Advisory Committee constituted by International Embryo Transfer Society, USA. He was a guest speaker representing the Continent of Asia during the 23rd World Veterinary Conference held at Montreal (Canada).

Upon invitation by Government of Nigeria as an international sheep expert, Dr. Shyam visited the country and prepared a Project Report for Government of Nigeria. He is a member of many international societies related to animal science and has travelled extensively to different parts of the world for participating in various international conferences and seminars.

Prior to joining the Trust, Dr. Shyam was working with Raymond Ltd as a Vice President. The Trust has achieved many milestones under the leadership of Dr. Shyam who has over 40 years of rich experience with J K Trust and Raymond Ltd.
