CII has been proactive in driving and promoting quality initiatives in the Indian industry. The most effective and efficient model has been the one that facilitates direct learning and sharing of best practices among Indian industries by visiting their factories. There is an increased recognition amongst the corporate sector on the need for a triple bottom line approach for conducting  business operations. The approach focuses on three important P’s i.e. People, Planet & Profits. The underlying need for achieving sustainability in all these three important areas is to focus on productivity & innovation.

We are pleased to inform you that Confederation of Indian Industry, Southern Maharashtra zone is organizing a Study mission on ‘Best Practices in Food Processing Industry’ on Saturday 08 June 2019. The programme would comprise visits to Chitale Dairies Pvt Ltd & Warana Dairy’s Malted Food Division (Bournvita) Plant. These organizations have made enormous achievements through world class practices in Food Processing Industry.

The objective of this Study Mission is to:

• To enable industry to learn best practices in Food Processing from the world class and be able to benchmark with those doing exemplary work.
• To learn Best Practices adopted by these companies.
• Interaction with the Management team and sharing of experiences.
• Factory Visit.
